Twilight, silhouetting the trees
Moon rise, slightest hint of breeze
Twilight, some bourbon and some ice
Fireflies sharing their light

Leaving my mind free to race
Back through time, out through space
Round and round, the endless chase
Times of wonder, times best erased
Times of grace…..twilight…..twilight

Twilight, stars peeking through
Air has a touch of blue
Twilight, moments til the night
One more day bids good-bye
